CGIL Seminar: "Updates on genomic analysis for Composite sheep breeds and temperament score in American Angus cattle"
Dr. Hinayah Rojas de Oliveira, a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Purdue University and CGIL, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, October 18th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building.
ABSc and OVC Graduate Student Information Night
Undergraduate students are interested in learning more about future programs, including MSc and PhD programs at ABSc and OVC program!
A casual social will be held on Thurs. Oct 17th at 6:00 pm (room 141) open to undergraduates, graduate, and OVC students. With complimentary Subway and Hospitality catering!
Note: There will be a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) session in a casual conversation setting, no presentations needed!

Mariana Roedel Peixoto, a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Animal Biosciences, will present a CGIL Seminar on Friday, October 11th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building.

CCSAW Student Chapter Seminar
The CCSAW Student Chapter is hosting a speaker from Wild Ontario to come and talk about the welfare and animal care practices for birds of prey that are in their care – live birds will be present as well!
Wild Ontario is a University of Guelph affiliated organization that promotes biology, ecology, ornithology, conservation education and stewardship in a manner that everyone can understand and appreciate.
The seminar is next Thursday (October 10th) from 12:30-1:30pm.
