The Department of Animal Biosciences mourns the passing of Dr. Jim Atkinson, professor emeritus and former faculty member in the department, on Monday, July 3, 2023. Jim was a pillar in the U of G community and the department sends their sincere condolences to the Atkinson family and the many faculty, staff and students whose lives he touched.

Do you have a great idea for a mural outside ANNU 141? What is your vision to commemorate achievements of the Animal Biosciences community and to celebrate the future of Animal Biosciences?

You are invited to create and submit your design ideas to the ‘ABSc Imagery Refresh’ committee. The winning submission will be selected by vote and used to inspire artist rendering.

Community Choice Award voting is open for U of G's 3MT competition!   Like the video of your choice to register your vote!

ABSc is pleased to welcome our new Accounting Clerk in the main office, Luke Luo.  Luke has an Economics degree from Wilfrid Laurier and has worked for the past two years in Accounts Payable at the University of Guelph. He brings to the role a solid experience in reviewing claims and processing payments and will be a valuable addition to the team.
