Opportunity to share your passion for pigs!

Posted on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022

As part of their new Hambassador program, Ontario Pork is looking to fill more than 70 Pig Mobile shifts from August 19 to September 5, at the Canadian National Exhibition – their largest single outreach event of the year. They are also looking for experienced herds people able to provide animal care. People want to hear about farming and animal care from people who live it every day.

This program is open to everyone but would be a great opportunity for students to gain work experience and connect with industry and consumers. There are also positions available for experienced herds-people to take care of the pigs themselves.

You can sign up for one or more Pig Mobile shifts at the CNE: https://volunteersignup.org/LPYJC

This is an opportunity to share your farming story with more than 1 million people who attend the CNE each year.

Ontario Pork provides training resources and a per diem to qualifying members through our new Hambassadors program.
