Prof Christine Baes Receives Minister's Award of Excellence
Prof. Christine Baes has been awarded a prestigous Minister's Award of Excellence in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Presented by Minister of Colleges and Universities Jill Dunlop, the award recognizes Baes outstanding contributions to the long-term and sustainable genetic improvement of livestock.
Baes is an Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Livestock Genomics and runs a large, collaborative and highly productive lab of students and postdocs with funding support from government and industry sectors.
