Speaker Biography: Dr. Stephensen is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Quantitative Genetics and Genomics at Aarhus University.  He is an agrobiologist specializing in quantitative genetics, with a strong interest in the green transition of global food production. His research focuses on developing genetic tools to improve feed efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in cattle through systematic breeding. Dr. Stephensen is also a member of the ICAR working group Feed & Gas, which aims to establish global standards for recording and quality control of feed intake and gas emission data in cattle, to support accurate breeding value assessments.
