Welcome Chantelle and Belinda!

Please join us in welcoming Chantelle Prigione, Graduate Program Assistant and Belinda Ward-Campbell, Academic Coordinatorn to the administrative team! 

Chantelle obtained her Bachelor of Arts Psychology degree at Brock University. Before joining the University of Guelph, Chantelle worked as Legal Assistant and Law Clerk. Chantelle brings to the role a wealth of knowledge and experience working with graduate students, coordinating the M.Sc/ Ph.D and course-based master’s programs in the School of Engineering – over 200 students.

In her Graduate Program Assistant role, Chantelle will coordinate our M.Sc and PhD thesis programs, and serves as back-up for the Academic Coordinator role. with her education and experience, along with her strong work ethics, positive attitude and commitment to well-being of students, Chantelle will be a valuable addition to our team and to our department.

Belinda obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the UofG and her  M.Ed (interdisciplinary) at Wilfrid Laurier. In the past few years, Belinda has been Sessional Instructor and Teaching Coordinator at the University of Guelph and Wilfrid Laurier. She brings to the role a wealth of knowledge and experience, and her passion as collaborative educator and program facilitator with expertise in student advising, academic program support and stakeholder engagement.

In her new role, Belinda will coordinate our new Course-Based Mater’s Program from admission to graduation, evaluating student success and program outcome/feedback, developing training programs for students and TAs, and liaising with faculty to advise students on program requirements for a successful completion of the program.  She will be teaching ANSC*6610 – Professional Development course. In addition, Belinda will provide animal care support and will be the liaison for course scheduling. She will be the back-up for the Graduate Program Assistant role. With her education and expertise, along with her commitment to student success and professional development, Belinda will enhance our academic program, improve student experience, and strengthen the connection between academia and industry
