Join the ABSc Graduate Student Council!

Hello ABSc Grad Students, 

Are you interested in getting involved in the Department, meeting other grad students, planning, and participating in fun Department activities? Joining the Animal Biosciences Graduate Student Council could be the answer!

  The ABSs GSC is looking for motivated individuals to join Council for the following positions: 

1. Events Coordinator (2 positions available)
2. Communications Coordinator (1 position available)
3. ABSc GSC Open Executive Position

If you're motivated and interested in any of the available positions on the ABSC GSC then please:

  Application Deadline: Friday, October 6^th (end of day)

  See below for a short description of the responsibilities involved in each position. 

  Events Coordinator responsibilities:

• Attend monthly council meetings and events meetings
• Help to i) brainstorm potential ABSc GSC activities and events; ii) plan logistics of potential activities
• Coordinate, organize, and lead upcoming events with other ABSC GSC event coordinators
• Attend ABSC GSC Department events
• Communicate status and recaps of the events to ABSC GSC committee

Communications Coordinator responsibilities:

• Attend monthly council meetings and events meetings
• Manage the ABSc GSC email account 

ABSc GSC Open Exec responsibilities:

• Attend monthly ABSC GSC meetings
• Assist with any ongoing council activities
