Professor James France Granted Emeritus Status

We are pleased to announce that retired Department of Animal Biosciences faculty member Dr. James France has been granted the title of University Professor Emeritus by the Senate of the University of Guelph.

Dr. France is an internationally recognized scientist whose research focuses on the development and application of mathematical models to better understand the complexities of various biological processes such as metabolism and digestion in livestock. The results of his work have led to the implementation of feed strategies that improve nutrient efficiency on farms while maintaining cost-effectiveness and environmental health.
