Are you conducting exciting Animal Biosciences research? Come share your discoveries and enthusiasm at the FOURTH ANNUAL OMAFA–ABSc GRADUATE STUDENT SYMPOSIUM!

This event provides a fantastic opportunity to present your research through oral or poster presentations, compete for presentation prizes, and connect with OMAFA staff, Industry representatives, U of G faculty, and fellow graduate students. Don’t miss this chance to showcase your work and celebrate the outstanding research happening within our department.

Symposium Details:

• Date: Tuesday, December 9th, 2025

• Venue: Peter Clark Hall, University Centre

• Abstract Submission Deadline: Friday, October 31st  @ 11:59 PM

Event Highlights:

• Great networking and knowledge-sharing opportunity between the Department of Animal Biosciences, OMAFA staff and industry representatives

• Podium presentations: Short research presentation (approximately 10-minute presentation + 3-minute Q&A)

• Poster presentations: Posters displayed in the hall throughout the day

• Free lunch and refreshments

Abstract Submission Requirements:

• Current ABSc graduate student

• Research conducted within the Department of Animal Biosciences

• Abstract length: maximum 2100 characters including spaces (approximately 300 words)
