CNM Seminar: Recent activity in the Lactation Systems Biology Lab

Date and Time

Details

Each month in 2021 a different lab within the Nutrition group will share their exciting new research in a dynamic virtual manner. Please feel free to forward these seminar invites to industry partners or others who may be interested.

In February we bring you:

Recent activity in the (Cant) Lactation Systems Biology Lab

Talk Description: Ration formulation for dairy cattle began by balancing dietary nutrient supplies against animal requirements. A more flexible approach involves predicting animal responses to dietary nutrient supplies so that economic and environmental indices of performance can be optimized. John Cant's research program has been focussed largely on amino acid responses, trying to answer the question, "For a given change in the absorptive supply of each of the essential amino acids, how much will milk component yields change?" In the March edition of the CNM seminar series, John Cant's lab group will help him think through this question.
