CGIL Seminar - "Transforming linear solutions to probabilities in the analysis of categorical data"

Good morning CGIL,

We are happy to have with us Dr. Jorge Hidalgo, a Postdoctoral research associate at the University of Georgia, to present this Friday, October 14th, 2022. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM EDT/EST on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams. The title of the presentation is: "Transforming linear solutions to probabilities in the analysis of categorical data".

To join this seminar, please ensure you have downloaded the Microsoft Teams application to your computer, or join the meeting online by using the web browser version of Microsoft Teams. Please join the meeting with your microphone on mute and camera turned off. After the presentation, you can unmute the microphone, and optionally turn on the camera, if you wish to ask a question. Speaker Biography: Dr. Jorge Hidalgo is originally from Mexico. He obtained his BSc in agronomy and MSc in animal breeding and genetics from the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo, Mexico. He earned his PhD in animal breeding and genetics at the University of Georgia, where he is currently a Postdoctoral research associate.
