Background: 

I grew up in Mississauga and moved to Guelph for my bachelor's degree in 2021 and have been living here ever since. I just graduated this past spring 2024 with my bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences. Since coming to Guelph, I have been fascinated by the One Health concept and wanted to implement it in my future career. This is why I am now pursuing my master's in animal breeding and genetics, hoping to pursue veterinary school afterward. This will allow me to work with industry and government by utilizing my background in veterinary medicine and genetics to improve the sustainability of livestock with a one-health approach.
