Peter grew up in Montreal, Quebec, spending his childhood days running after animals and exploring the great outdoors. Always keen on looking for adventure in the wild, being a boy scout for 5 years was a natural fit for him. Over time, his enthusiasm and interest was refined into an appreciation and passion for everything nature, with his eyes set on one day becoming a veterinarian. 

Peter received his HBSc in Life Sciences with a specializing in Animal Biology at McGill University before joining Dr. Harlander's team at the University of Guelph as a research assistant in 2015. Following his lifelong passion to work with animals, Peter is currently completing his DVM studies at the OVC.
