Nicole completed her B.Sc. Hons. in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph and then an M.Sc. advised by Dr. Ming Fan. Driven by her fascination with swine gastrointestinal physiology, Nicole is passionate about improving swine gut health. Her master's projects revolved around the characterization of porcine alkaline phosphatase, a critical enzyme involved in the maintenance of gut health. She is now a research assistant.
