The Resilient Dairy Genome Project (RDGP) is a Large-Scale Applied Research Project [1] funded by Genome Canada [2]. The overall aim of the project is to enhance Canadian dairy industry sustainability by integrating genomic approaches to improve dairy cattle resilience. The RDGP is led by Drs. Christine Baes [3] (University of Guelph), Ronaldo Cerri [4] (University of British Columbia), Marc-André Sirard [5] (Université Laval), and Paul Stothard [6] (University of Alberta), working together with over 30 co-investigators, collaborators and end-users [7] from over 35 international partner organizations.

Volunteers needed

Are you a student at the University of Guelph and interested in helping us? We are always looking for dedicated volunteers who can help us with data collection while gaining valuable research skills. If you want to know what you will be doing check out this short video!

Students that commit to a full semester will receive a statement of work. Please note that a full G license is a requirement to be able to drive the department cars.
