Good afternoon CGIL,

We are happy to have Simona Antonios, PhD student at INRAE, presenting for us on Friday February 10th, 2023. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM EDT/EST on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams. The title of the presentation is: "Partition of the genetic trend of French dairy sheep in Mendelian samplings and long-term contributions".

Speaker Biography: Simona Antonios is a PhD student at INRAE (Institut National de Recherche pour l'Agriculture, l'Alimentation et l'Environnement), Toulouse, France. She has a strong curiosity in developing and understanding quantitative genetics approaches. She is particularly involved in the evaluation, design and optimization of breeding programs. More precisely, she is interested in finding new ways of considering genetic diversity in French dairy sheep breeds for sustainable future breeding programs.

Information to attend: To join this seminar, please ensure you have downloaded the Microsoft Teams application to your computer, or join the meeting online by using the web browser version of Microsoft Teams. Please join the meeting with your microphone on mute and camera turned off. After the presentation, you can unmute the microphone, and optionally turn on the camera, if you wish to ask a question.
