Our Dogs

This is Solo, born in 2003. In 2008, she was named the Neville Trophy winner "Dog of the Year" by the Labrador Owners Club. She earned 8 different titles that year in retrieving, tracking, and obedience. Laura did all of the training. Solo died, Easter 2011, only 8 years old.

In 2007 Solo was bred (to a male from British Columbia by artificial insemination), and she gave birth to 3 male pups, 2 black and 1 yellow. We named them Junior, Darryl and Darryl.

As soon as they could see and walk, the puppies climbed out of the birthing box and took over the kitchen. They seemed to like these cushioned beds for the older dogs.
