APS Backups

There are three daemons involved:

  1. The file daemon that runs on each client machine is responsible for responding to requests from the director and sending it the data.
  2. The director who is in charge of all the jobs
  3. The storage daemon who looks after recieving the data from clients and storing it on volumes.
