Dr. Ludmila Zavadilová and Dr. Eva Kašná are researchers from VÚŽV, the Institute of Animal Sciences, in Prague (Czech Republic). They will present a CGIL Seminar on Tuesday, November 26th. The seminar will begin at 1:30 PM in room 141 of the Animal Science & Nutrition building.

Dr. Ludmila Zavadilová and Dr. Eva Kašná are from the Institute of Animal Sciences (VÚŽV) in the Prague, Czech Republic. The Institute of Animal Sciences carries out basic and applied research focusing on innovation and the practical use of knowledge in animal science.  Dr. Zavadilová and Dr. Kašná are members of the Genetics and Breeding of Farm Animals Department, where Dr. Zavadilová serves as the Department manager. They will present an overview of research and breeding programs related to health traits in Czech dairy cattle. 

The Centre for Genetic Improvement of Livestock welcomes all interested University of Guelph staff, faculty, students, as well as industry and academic collaborators to attend our CGIL Seminars, which are held on Friday afternoons throughout the Fall and Winter semesters. The meetings are always available remotely via Fuze, for those unable to attend in person, and presentation recordings may also be available after the seminar.
