José Felipe  Warmling  Spricigo is originally from  Urubic -SC, a city located in southern Brazil. Bachelor in Veterinary Medicine at the University of State of Santa Catarina (2009). In 2010, started the master in Animal Science program at the University of Brasília, Brazil.  Upon completion of his M.Sc. degree in 2011, he started a Ph.D. in the same program, at the University of Brasília, that was completed in 2016. Both, his master thesis and Ph.D. dissertation studied events related to cow reproductive physiology and biotechnology and focused on oocyte cryopreservation. Currently, he holds a postdoctoral grant at the University of Guelph, in the Department of Animal Biosciences. The main research line is the study of different sources of trace minerals diets for dairy cows in the transition period.
