I am a Biologist interested in studying and understanding Animal Behaviour and how to use this information to improve Animal Welfare through research.

My previous research experience focused on Animal Welfare Indicators in poultry, the parental effect of stress-related behaviours during early handling in 1-year-old foals, and the plasticity of sexual behaviours depending on environmental resources in Red Deer (Cervus elaphus).

Currently, I am Ph.D. candidate examining broiler breeder welfare under simulated commercial conditions directed by Dr. Stephanie Torrey.
